A two night trip to Cottage Grove and back. Ride out and camp at Schwarz Campground. On Saturday, enjoy one of the scheduled rides from Cottage Grove. This is a great trip if you have been enjoying riding with GEARs and want to give self supported touring a try.

Departure Options
There are two departure options. The Alton Baker option leaves 11:00 AM, lead by Larry Diffie. The Pleasant Hill option leaves at 11:50 AM, lead by Mark LaPage. The return ride will leave at about 9 AM on the 28th. If you are interested in leaving from Pleasant Hill, please contact Mark at (541) 556-5569.
Cost
The cost for this trip is 20 dollars per rider. It is only open to GEARs members. We plan on adding an option to pay through the site, but payment can also be given to Mike Cantrell, or one of the ride leaders.
Campground Information
Sites 59 and 60 are reserved for this trip. There are showers, flush toilets, and potable water at the campground. Riders will need to bring their own tent, sleeping bag, food, stove, and any other supplies needed for the weekend. Schwarz Campground is about 6 miles away from Cottage Grove. Cell reception at the campground is poor.
