Welcome to GEARs. The Greater Eugene Area Riders is a non-profit organization with the mission to promote bicycling both for recreation and transportation. We coordinate weekly rides, provide safety and skill education, defend the rights and responsibilities of bike riders, and work to enhance the bicycle culture in Eugene and surrounding area. SWAP Meet
and Annual Meeting (w/ Board Elections):
The meeting will take place on November 10th, starting at 7:00pm where we’ll hold Board elections. At 7:30pm the SWAP Meet will begin and run until 9:00pm offering cyclists an opportunity to sell and exchange bicycles and bike parts. Any interested bicyclist is invited to participate. Both events are open to the general public. No commercial selling will be permitted. Location: The Vets Club, 1626 Willamette St., Eugene.
